spiderman-acteur-2019If you are already a DC comics fan and are on board with the concept of big budget DC movies, then you are likely already a fan of this movie. In other words, there is no reason to describe something you probably already enjoy. Ironically this movie makes no attempt to woo new fans into the franchise. The only reason I bought this movie was to see the Joker. I could care less about the rest of the clowns on screen as most I've never heard of. Indeed Leto plays the role over-the-top, but the Joker is larger than life. In our modern, darker arena of story telling we get to see the Joker not as the Anarchist or the Clown Prince but as the Gangsta. Its definitely insane, but he is the crime boss joker who is far more sinister/scarier than Nicholson's Joker. Does he compare to Ledger? No way. Ledger was the best. Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2019 Verified Purchase I liked Suicide Squad in theaters. I never understood the hate that the movie got to begin with - but I absolutely love the extended scenes.
