Questo film trae origine dal libro scritto da Richard T. Partridge che narra di un episodio di cui fu lui stesso il protagonista, l' operazione Skua. Trama [ modifica | modifica wikitesto] Nell'inverno 1940, in Norvegia inglesi e tedeschi si fronteggiano per prendere il controllo del paese scandinavo e soprattutto attingere alle sue enormi risorse di materie prime. Il 27 aprile un aereo inglese e uno tedesco si abbattono a vicenda, nel pieno delle lande innevate norvegesi. Tre tedeschi, il pilota Tenente Horst Schopis, Josef Schwartz e Wolfgang Strunk, sopravvissuti allo schianto, raggiungono un capanno di caccia dove trovare rifugio, poco prima dell'arrivo di due sopravvissuti inglesi, il pilota Capitano Charles P. Davenport e l'artigliere Robert Smith che, disarmati, vengono fatti prigionieri. La trama, come potete comprendere, è una ciofeca ma la nostra speranza è di vedere Jon ammansire la vampiressa cantando "You give love a bad name", ma purtroppo la sceneggiatura non lo permette e quindi ci sorbiamo la caccia al mostro. Il buon Jon fa del suo meglio in questi nuovi panni, ma il ruolo del rude non gli si addice e non raramente gli partono sguardi ammicanti come se il vampiro fosse in realtà una scolaretta giapponese nel 1987 e sembra sempre sul punto di cantare "Wanted Dead or Alive" mentre fugge verso l'orizzonte del deserto messicano a bordo della sua Jeep. Poi fa impressione vedere Bon Jovi armato di paletti di frassino, quando l'ultima volta era come in questa foto qui sotto: In sostanza, nonostante la trama scarna, alcuni potrebbero dire di merda, il film si lascia vedere, di colpi di scena ovviamente nemmeno a parlarne ma già Bon Jovi fa la sua parte e tra lingue strappate, gole tagliate e banchetti vari c'è una bella dose di sangue e questo fa sempre bene e se togliamo quella mezz'ora in mezzo al film in cui non succede una sega nulla ci si diverte quasi (rileggi quasi una trentina di volte).
