Wer sich allerdings echte, informative Einblicke in die schwule Pornoindustrie erhofft, wird womöglich enttäuscht, denn die tatsächliche Arbeit Yonatans streift der Film lediglich am Rande und auch die Aussagen des Protagonisten zu seinem tatsächlichen Metier bleiben meistenteils vage. Dafür bekommt man mehr von den unschönen Auswirkungen auf Yonatans Identität zu sehen, die das Erotik-Gewerbe auf ihn hat: die Rolle des "Jonathan Agassi", die er sich für die Arbeit überstreift, ist Stage-Persona wie Schutzschild für den im Grunde verletzlichen jungen Mann, der in Sachen Nacktheit zwar alles andere als scheu ist, dafür jedoch sein Innenleben verbarrikadiert.

Overall, I would have given it a 5-star rating, short of the fact that all the layers of this extremely complex mystery are somehow not complete. Nevertheless, it's definitely worth a watch: great plot, acting, directing, locations. This mini-series is filmed on location in three continents: the scenery is breathtaking. From a philosophical aspect - this production "borrowed" some elements from Tarkovsky films: it's meditative, leaving time for your own reflections, thus some viewers might find it slow paced. This is not an easy to watch "who done it" mystery, but rather a philosophical reflection on the fundamental questions in our lives. My review is personal - this film may not be for everyone, but if you want a deep experience from a movie: watch it and write your own review.
