I have always HATED the Xbox user interface with a passion. Sadly it hasn't changed here, its the same as you get on the Xbox One.

Warning this is a very big post. I am making this post for a few reasons, I am bored and can't sleep, But I also know that I do want to be able to upgrade over time as needed. Now my biggest problem is I am broke because I lost my job due declining mental and physical health, and have been unable to get another one since. I will either have to sell or trade off oldest stuff, ask for things for birthday or Christmas, or if we get a second stimulus here in the US, and there is is any left after some car repairs that most likely need done soon, then I might be able to spend that. Because one of my mental health problems I am struggling with is bad ADHD and I can plan a new build all day, but when it come to upgrades I can't seem to figure out, like my mind goes blank. For comparison I have the Ryzen 5 2600 [ OC@4. 00GHZ] in my desktop PC. In short tests like the ones included in hardinfo this laptop crushes my desktop CPU by boosting up to 4186MHz resulting in at least one third better results. While these short tests the fan is completely off, 0 RPM. Indeed when doing office, programming or Web browsing this laptop is cooled completely passive. In fact one can have up to 20 seconds of all core load before the fan starts spinning. To test the cooling system I compiled the complete Qt5 Framework from source for Windows with MXE – over an hour of all core load. While such a period of load the fan spins at around 3700RPM cooling the CPU to about 75-80°C. The processor it self stays at around 2400MHz making it a bit slower than my desktop CPU. While such a period the hole casing gets so warm on the bottom, that i would not recommend to have it on your lap. In this mode the fan is good to hear but not annoying. When the CPU gets a pause for 5 seconds it can than boost up to 2700MHz again for half a minute.

Workstation: I will be using it to learn video editing more, also trying to learn to make music and how to use photoshop, while not taking up all the space on my main PC, Also if i am editing a video on my main pc, and it is going to take over an hour to export, I may move it to the workstation to export so I can keep using my main PC. HTPC: I will be using it for Video and music streaming, I also plan to do Steam in home streaming from my main pc. I also plan to do some eumlation, and storing back ups. Server: I plan to use it as a game server and home data server, I know FiveM for sure, but unsure what other games I will end up doing.

Loading times with next gen games are way faster than ever before and faster than back compat games. I think the Playstation loaded in Valhalla a bit quicker than the Xbox. Spiderman loads in real fast as well, like just a couple of seconds and you are in the game. Assassins Creed Valhalla doesn't have ray tracing but Spiderman does. It looks fantastic! You can have full 4K 30fps with ray tracing. Or 4k at 60fps without ray tracing (I think this mode is dynamic 4k but close to 4k). Both modes look and play fantastic. I'm not a Spiderman fan at all but i did really enjoy the visuals and performance of this game. It is very impressive. Controllers. There may be 2 next gen consoles but there is only 1 next gen controller here. Microsofts controller is always great as you all know. Nothing has really changed with the Xbox controller, its yet another first class comfortable Xbox controller. But the Playstation 5's Dual Sense is a leap forward for sure. It's hard to describe it. Idling however, everything stays very cool with the CPU at 40-50°C clocking at around 1200-1400MHz. Gaming Performance: TLDR: It is a business notebook but you can still play games. Do not expect much, it is still a business laptop with an iGPU but still I installed steam and the native port of The Witcher 2 and wall shall I say.
