The Christmas Contract is a made-for-TV movie that premiered on Lifetime in the 2018 holiday season. Summary It's Jolie's first time going back home to Louisiana since her devastating break up with Foster. Seeing him is inevitable as their parents run the town's annual Christmas Market together, but when she discovers Foster is bringing home a new girlfriend, Jolie cannot bear the thought of going home alone and seeing them together. Her best friend Naomi suggests that Jolie bring her flaky brother, Jack, home for Christmas as he has no plans. Jolie, a professional web designer, is hesitant; so, Naomi, a lawyer, creates a Christmas contract to give them both something they want—a buffer for those awkward moments around Jolie's ex and a website to help sell Jack's upcoming novel.

This brand-new trailer for The Christmas Contract doubles as a One Tree Hill reunion. Lifetime just dropped a full-length teaser for the highly anticipated holiday movie, which stars former cast members Hilarie Burton (Peyton), Robert Buckley (Clay), Antwon Tanner (Skills) and Danneel Ackles (Rachel). In the trailer, we're introduced to Jolie (Burton), a web designer who is terrified of returning home for the holidays thanks to her ex, who already has a new girlfriend. Just two months after Lifetime officially announced that Hilarie Burton, Robert Buckley, Danneel Ackles, and Antwon Tanner would all be starring in The Christmas Contract, the network released the first trailer on Tuesday. Burton plays a woman named Jolie, who travels back home to Louisiana for Christmas after breaking up with her boyfriend Foster (Hunter Burke), who also happens to be from Louisiana. After finding out that Foster is bringing home a new girlfriend, Jolie enlists the help of her best friend Naomi (Danneel Ackles), who suggests that she turn to Jolie's brother Clay (Buckley) for support. Problem solved, right? Well, turns out, the Christmas contract proves to be a lot more than Jolie and Clay signed up for.
