Jonah uses the Orca to command Rodan to destroy the air forces and Godzilla, as Jonah sees Godzilla as an obstacle to his plan. He begins awakening other titans and orders them to terraform the planet to his liking. Mothra attempts to free the titans from Ghidorah's control just as she freed Rodan, but Ghidorah's alien nature proves to be too incomprehensible for her to undo. After he has managed to bring enough titans under his will, Ghidorah issues a challenge to Godzilla. Al final se da un diálogo entre el protagonista y su mejor amigo que contiene una exhortación donde se adivina el pensamiento de Twain. Encierra una moraleja: "El miedo se apodera de ti en esta ocasión hasta el punto de dudar de los demás y de ti mismo. No debes intimidarte ante tales empresas. Solo la audacia y el arrojo han de ser nuestros aliados principales. Promuévelos en ti mismo y volverás a encontrar confianza en los demás". La presente edición es impecable: texto pulcro, bien traducido, perfectamente maquetado. Le precede un prólogo sucinto, aunque bien informado, sobre la vida y obra de Mark Twain.
